Hi, this is Lindsay Colbus from Lindsay Colbus Accessories and on behalf of Expert Village and today I'm gonna show you how to dress for a date. Just some more really quick tips. In terms of etiquette we mentioned the cell phone before. You also have to keep in mind what you're ordering. You don't, if you're going for pasta, don't order spaghetti, don't, don't make it complicated. Don't put yourself in a position to look like an idiot. Order something simple. And I'm not saying order a salad. Order something that's less messy. You don't want to get sauce all over yourself. You don't want to get food in your teeth. Keep it simple. Other things, such as, burping. Don't burp. I mean, I know sometimes it's the sign of a great meal, but try not to have a lot of bodily functions happen at the dinner table because it just, it's a major turn-off and it makes you wonder about people and you wonder about their manners. Another thing, you don't want to be blowing your nose at the table if you have a cold or you have a runny nose, just excuse yourself and go to the bathroom. Don't put yourself in a situation where, where you're gonna look bad. Like I said, blowing your nose, talking on your cell phone, burping, ordering the wrong meal, you don't want to have food in your teeth. Put your napkin on your lap. There's just so many things that you don't even think about. Like, you realize you were probably brought up with these manners. And make sure you always use them. Put your napkin on your lap. I mean, there's so many things that they seem so obvious but sometimes you need people to point them out.
