How to Get Out of Your Comfort Zone Part 2



Hey, what's going on? It's Tripp from trippadvice.com and today I want to talk to you about how to get out of your comfort zone, part two. So I'm sitting here in the Amazon Rainforest right here on the Amazon River, check it out, and I've done some crazy stuff so far. I've been fishing for piranha, hunting for caimans, searching for poisonous spiders, all kinds of things that would have definitely freaked me out, but I've been pushed out of my comfort zone. I think one of the biggest things that is holding us back from really going outside of our comfort zone is fear, right. So in my last video, I talked about wanting it because if you want to accomplish anything, if you even want to get out of your comfort zone, you have to want whatever it is that's pushing you outside of it, so you one have to want it and the other thing is you have to know how to conquer your fear. You have to know how to embrace it. I think one of the best ways to really push yourself out of your comfort zone is to embrace the fear. So this can be anything big, anything small, whatever it is. One of the ways I've been really able to handle being out of my comfort zone is conquering and really embracing the fear. So what do I mean by that? When you're doing something that's uncomfortable to you, something that makes you feel a little uneasy, when fear starts to creep up, one of the things that I did and what could be really good for you guys is to really feel the fear. You start to observe it. What does it feel like? What's going on inside of your mind? What are you thinking? What kind of excuses are you thinking about? You observe it and you start to realize that it's not really you being scared of something. It's not really you scared of being outside of your comfort zone. It's something else that's causing this fear. So when you start to observe it, it's easier to release it and it's easier to embrace it and let it just flow through you. So next time you're doing something that's scary or you know you're starting to get out of your comfort zone, start to understand that the only thing that's really getting in your way is you. The only thing that can really stop you from doing anything is you. You control your destiny. You control your path in this world. We only have this one shot. This is it. It's now or never. And the sooner you start to realize it's you that's holding you back, then you can stop it. You can actually be the person to say hey, this is only scary or I'm only frightened of this one thing because I'm convincing myself that it's scary. So that's the next big tip I can give you in getting out of your comfort zone and of course all this is going to be through taking action. It's going to be up to you to take the next step, to do whatever it is that you're scared of, so homework for today is find out what you're frightened of and go do it and really feel inside of you what's happening. And let all those excuses and those fear run through you and actually go and get out of your comfort zone.
