Now look, if you did the right thing on the first date, whether you're a man or a woman, now let's think of this from both perspectives. Ladies, is he going to ask you for a second date or not? OK, let's go with this. In a second date scenario, you decided that I'll give this person a, a second chance, or b, I'd like to see this person again. Now if you're at a, and that says I'm on thin ice because this person's now going to give me a second test, the first one was sort of passable. You don't want to be there, you want to be at b where this person wants to see you a second time. So there are a lot of rules in between to make that second date more appealing to the person that is going to go there. There's basics, don't get drunk, don't be obnoxious, and we all know that, but more importantly, listen is a good thing to do. Listen to what the other person has to say. Join them in fun, keep it light. You're going to get a second date if you keep that first date on a level that is humorous. You can be enjoyable with the other person, and not get in to too heavy a subject, which may cause disagreements. Don't go there. You start that up front, it's going to go right down the tubes. So, getting that second date depends on getting that first date and having it effective. When it's effective, it's going to be easy for that second date to occur. The person may want to give you a second chance, male or female, or they may really want to see you again. You might even ask, you want to give me a second chance? Or, would you like to see me again? But don't put it in a yes or no context. You want to say, I'm sure we'd like to see each other again, we, the we word is very heavy, very important word. I'm sure we had a great time, and they'll say, yeah, we get along well. And keep it light, that's the direction to take to get a second date. This is Dr. Paul.
