Now you might have a lot of different reasons to cancel it. I'm going to assume we are talking about canceling because you have a really good reason. Now if this is the case, and you really have to tell someone you care about that you can't meet them that day it's important to do it in a timely fashion. If your date is at seven o clock make sure you call at the earliest possible time to tell her that you won't be able to make it. Also give her a good reason. Don't have to lie, just be totally honest. If in fact the reason that you are canceling is because you don't want to see her, again at all, you need to say so. This way she is not waiting around for you. It's almost a common courtesy that you are giving her to tell her that you know you are no longer interested and you are sorry about canceling the date. Also admit that what you are doing is causing her trouble. Women are really good communicators. So the more that you communicate on their level and keep everything clean and easy for them, the better off you are going to be with not having to deal with repercussions in the end.
