How do you treat a girl with respect, well you don't have to say yes ma'am you simply have to be courteous. I think courtesy and good manners saves the day. One way in which to be disrespectful is to show disrespect to other people when you are with her. For example, the valet who parks your car, don't want to go there anyway because they'll probably key it for you but that's another story. Or if you are in a restaurant and you are rude to the waitress, that's disrespectful to her, that is the woman you are with because that's another woman you are disrespectful to. So you want to make certain that in offering respect to her, you also give respect to others. In fact good manners saves the day. It's not just courtesy it's good manners. Too often I think in our society we have the unfortunate experience of those who don't have good manners. That's a part of respect. Absolutely compliments are fine, on an upper plane, lets not do it on a lower level and having a certain rapport with that person that again is on a higher level. Going to an event that is not disrespectful and you and I both know what we are talking about.
