Self-Improvement Tips ow to Avoid Getting Drunk

William Shakespeare said, "alcohol increases the desire, but decreases the performance." How to avoid getting drunk. And this goes for men and women both, alright. So this is important. If you're going to go on a date and you decide that maybe the evening may expand into something more interesting, remember what Shakespeare said. You certainly want the desire, but you certainly don't want to have a lack in the performance department. And more importantly, nothing is more foolish than someone who drinks too much. How can you avoid this? One way is to only have a glass of wine or a drink when you're eating something. That tends to absorb the alcohol. Secondly, keep in mind how much a DUI is going to cost you. Don't go there, alright. Take a taxi. And if you get overly involved with alcohol, whether you're a man or a woman, it's a lose, lose situation. A drink, two drinks, that might be affable. It may be worthwhile. It may make things a little more relaxed, and that's why we have a drink. But remember, if you have something to eat in the process, it will tend to reduce that affect. That's why when you go to a cocktail party over the holidays, they always have hors d'oeuvres. Unfortunately it's pretty greasy, but it's there for a reason. Just keep in mind, it can be a lose, lose, and a DUI is no fun. This is Dr. Paul. May your fantasies of today be your realities of tomorrow.
