When you ask a girl to a school dance, there are two really important rules, number 1, creativity, number 2, publicity. She wants you to ask her in a very slick, and fun way, while also doing it publicly where everyone else can see. So when you're deciding who you're going to ask, think of a way you can do it either at school, or at her home. Secondly, decide on a way to make it fun for her or exciting, where her friends are going to get laughy and giggly with her. The best couple of ways that I've seen boys ask girls to homecoming are, stuffing a fortune cookie with a little note that says, the boy across from you wants to go to homecoming with you, when everyone goes to lunch at Chinese food, all the other girls are jealous.
